Racers
for Tots 9th Annual Christmas Party - December 8, 2007

The
Ninth Annual Racers for Tots Holiday Party was held on Saturday,
December 8, 2007 at the South
Fayette Fire Hall in Cuddy, PA 15031. The party is always
a great time for racing folks to get together and have fun while
supporting a very worthy cause.
Here
are some photos
taken at the party.
Once
again, thanks to everyone for your generosity in contributing to
Racers for Tots at the holiday party and during this year.
Congratulations
to Rob Blair and Thanks to Everyone for Your Help!
Congratulations
to late
model driver Rob Blair for winning the 2007 Racers for Tots Rocket
Late Model. The car was given away on Saturday, October 13, 2007.
Racers for
Tots wants to say a big "Thank You" to everyone who purchased
tickets. This was our biggest selling year for tickets for the race
car.
Look for the
2008 Rocket--coming in February.
Fabulous
Gunslingers Join Forces with Racers for Tots
The
Fabulous Gunslingers will be selling stickers with their names on
them for ten dollars each. All proceeds will go to Racers
for Tots. By purchasing a sticker, you are not only displaying
that you are a fan of the Gunslingers, but you are also helping
someone in need. Ten dollars is the average price spent on
a new toy so you are buying a new toy for a needy child with every
sticker. Also, the stickers will be placed on the 2007 Rocket
Late Model race car that Racers for Tots raffles throughout the
racing season. Here is the best part of the sticker program.
Six lucky fans of the Gunslingers will accompany them at the stores
to purchase the toys.
The
reason the Fabulous Gunslingers are joining with Racers for Tots
is that they have seen firsthand the amount of toys that Racers
for Tots has purchased with the money raised throughout the year
for the Marines' Toys for Tots Program. They have played at
the annual Racers for Tots Christmas party for the past four years
and have been witness to the Marines picking up the new toys and
bikes.
Last year Racers for Tots raised over $72,000.00 and filled two
forty-foot trucks with toys and bikes. Their eight year total
is over $350,000.

Racers for Tots Sponsors
Racers
for Tots is pleased to announce two new sponsors for the 2007 Pontiac
GTO Rocket late model - Sullivan General Contracting of Bridgeville
and Bob Walter's Heavy Equipment Repairs in Pittsburgh. They
join returning sponsors Consol Energy, Hay's Heating & Cooling,
#1 Cochran, and the Rhythm House Cafe, with product help from Rocket

Tire Mid Atlantic.
Without
our sponsors' help we could not continue to raffle off a race car.
This is the 5th year Racers for Tots will raffle off a late model
car. Tickets are still only $10.00. Last year Racers
for Tots raised over $72,000 for needy children.
